Amino acid fertilizer function in crops(about Cystine):
1. increase stress resistance
After the occurrence of stress, the superoxide free radicals in crops increase and damage the integrity of cell membranes. Cysteine can effectively protect the body and improve the stress resistance of crops through its own antioxidant effect and the synthesis of glutathione, which has an important antioxidant effect. At the same time, cysteine can promote the synthesis of cysteine protease. When bacteria invade crops, cysteine protease can induce the infected cells to wither from the plants, Prevent cells from continuing to infect plants, thereby improving plant disease resistance
2. Improve crop quality
Sulfur is a medium element. The sulfur absorbed by crops from the outside passes through multi-step synthetic reaction, first generates cysteine, and then directly or indirectly synthesizes most of the thiometabolite through other reactions. Cysteine is not only the synthesis precursor of the thiometabolite, but also the main storage form of sulfur in crops.
