Hydrolyzed vegetable protein, also known as HVP is a natural & organic product rich in amino acids, minerals, micronutrients and is widely used in small amounts to add or enhance flavor of many processed foods such as soup, snack food, veggie burger, seasoning and more. It is considered as natural additive.
Hydrolyzed plant protein adopts low temperature, low acid, and low pressure (three low) technologies, avoiding the destruction and loss of freshness and aroma generated by traditional processes such as high temperature and strong acid, and maintaining the inherent and unique freshness and flavor of plant protein; The fragrance is pure, soft and rich. Brown or light yellow powder, with a good taste and a delicious taste, rich in 18 amino acids and peptides. Total nitrogen ≥ 5.0%, amino nitrogen ≥ 4.5%, sodium chloride 38-42%, Pb ≤ 5ppm, As ≤ 1ppm, and 3-chloropropanol ≤ 1ppm.

HVP is majorly used in bouillons, soups, soy sauce, and similar condiments. They are used because of their meaty or savory flavor and/or their flavor-enhancing properties.
