1. Promote seed germination
Valine can form succinyl coenzyme A through multi-step reaction in the crop, and then enter the tricarboxylic acid cycle for productivity reaction to provide energy for maintaining normal physiological functions of crops. The efficiency of valine oxidation to produce high-energy substance adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is significantly higher than that of other amino acids. Especially in the early stage of seed germination, its oxidative energy supply function is more important. Seed soaking with valine is used in production, It can significantly promote seed germination and seedling growth.
2. Increase fruit fragrance
Fruit aroma is one of the important indicators to measure the quality of fruit. Valine is the precursor of aromatic substances. Under the action of transaminase and pyruvate dehydrogenase, it can generate ester substances emitting aromatic flavor. Therefore, the application of valine can increase the accumulation of aromatic compounds in the fruit, improve the aroma of the fruit, and then improve the quality of the fruit. As a branched chain amino acid, valine can be transformed with leucine and isoleucine under the action of branched chain amino acid transaminase (TAS), which is conducive to maintaining cell stability and promoting the healthy growth of crops.
